Mrs. Homayra Teixeira - Owner / Manager

Is both owner and teacher at Little Bright Minds Preschool in North Delta.  She is a graduate of Early Childhood Education and has been practicing for the past ten years. She worked at the YMCA after school care program in Surrey and at various preschools in the Surrey, BC area. She has first aid training and continues to grow and develop new ideas for the early learners at her preschool. She is a mother of two boys who attend Gibson as well. She has been attending workshops to better educate herself through Child Care Options  some of her workshops are Meeting the Distinctive Needs of Newcomer Children in Child Care, Social & Emotional Development in Early Years and Pedagogicial Narrations etc. She loves working with children and works hard to develop a better program in her preschool.
